About Nite Owl Poker
The concept of Nite Owl Poker is to increase the business for restaurants and bars by providing weekly entertainment for their customers — free play in a Texas Hold 'Em poker tournament!

Nite Owl Poker provides tournament directors to organize and run a tournament at each restaurant or tavern. We also supply the chips, cards, and poker table tops. Nite Owl Poker uses the basic rules of no limit Texas Hold 'Em along with standard tournament rules. Read our rules here. The restaurant or tavern usually offers a free prize to the top 1 or 2 players in the tournament.

When players sign up on this website, players earn points for playing in the various tournaments that we sponsor. Nite Owl Poker keeps track of the player standings within each region. Points are accumulated over a three month calendar quarter. The top 30% of all players in each region (maximum 60 players) qualify for our Quarterly Championship and special prizes. Also qualifying for the Quarterly Championship are Venue Champions, the top player at each venue who didn't make the top 30%, and our tournament directors (subject to certain restrictions).
